Nutrition Complete
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Q. Where do the nutrition data listed in Nutrition
Complete come from and how accurate they are?
A. Nutrition Complete's data come from the
official "USDA National
Nutrient Database for Standard Reference" published by the
Department of Agriculture of the United States. Currently, it's on
Release 20.
Q. How often are the data from Nutrition Complete
updated. Will I need to pay for future updates?
A. We will update Nutrition Complete as soon as
USDA releases new data. The last update (USDA Release 20) was
at the end of 2007. Future data update will be provided to our
current customers at no charge.
Q. Shouldn't the Daily Value (DV) percentage differ based
on different need? How do I customize it to my personal need?
A. You can customize Nutrition Complete in two
ways. You can tell Nutrition Complete your desired daily
calories intake (the default is 2,000). For instance, if you
live an active lifestyle, you might want to set it to 3,000.
You can also specify your age and gender group, which will customize
the DV percentage for Vitamins and minerals.
