Solution to "Unable to load slide."

On Windows computers, when i-Clickr tries to open your PowerPoint presentation, you might get "Unable to load slide" message.  This error ocurrs because Microsoft Office is not installed correctly on the computer.  Please check the following:

1. Make sure you are using Microsoft Office XP, Office 2003, Office 2007, Office 2010.  Any edition (i.e., "home", "standard", "professional", "student", "ultimate", etc) will do.  However, i-Clickr does not work with the free "PowerPoint Viewer" program, as the program is not designed to run presentation. 

2. During your Micosoft Office installation, select the "Typical" or "Complete" installation option.  If instead you have selected "Custom" installation, it is possible that you might have not selected the Office components that i-Clickr requires.  This will lead to the "Unable to load slide" error.

To fix the issue, insert your Microsoft Office CD/DVD and run "Setup".  Select "Add/Remove Features", and expand "Shared Office Features". Make sure you add "Visual Basic for Application".




If the above procedure does not resolve the issue, reinstalll Office by removing it completely from your comptuer, and re-run the setup to install it.  Make sure you use either the "Typical" or "Complete" installation option.
