How to Establish Connection without Shared Wi-Fi
Many times you might not have access to a shared Wi-Fi connection to
connect your computer and your iOS device (iPhone, iPad, or iPod
Touch). For instance, you
might be presenting at another company, and the company might not be
willing to give you access to their networks.
In this case, you can still use i-Clickr by establishing an ad hoc
wireless connection between your computer and your iOS device.
Please use the following instructions.
Ad Hoc Connection on Windows XP, Vista and Win 7
Ad Hoc Connection on Mac OS X
If you are getting
"Unable to connect ..." message when you connect,
please check your firewall settings. For Windows 7,
click here on how to configure Windows
Firewall for ad hoc connections.
