Firewall Setup for Ad Hoc Networks on Windows 7
When you set up ad hoc networks on Windows 7, the network belongs to
"public network" profile. You will need to configure Windows
Firewall to allow i-Clickr under "public network" profile. If
the firewall blocks i-Clickr, you will get "Unable to connect ..."
message when you try to connect from your iPhone.
Open Control Panel and select "Allow a program through Windows
Firewall".
Click "Change settings" and find "i-Clickr PC Control" in the list,
and check both "Home/Work" and "Public". This
will allow i-Clickr to operate in both shared-WiFi connection and ad
hoc connection.
