Windows XP, Vista, and Windows 7 (32-bit or 64-bit)
Installation
Go to the download page (or click
the link on the right panel) to download the PocketControl
for Windows. Install the downloaded package. Reboot
the computer afterwards.
PocketControl installer for Widnows will install a number of
drivers into your system. Please select "Install" or "Continue
Anyway" when prompted to install the drivers.
Windows Vista, Windows 7:
Windows XP:
PocketControl will also prompt to install Bonjour for Windows.
If you do not have Bonjour on the system, please proceed to install
Bonjour.
After the installation completes, you can verify that the
PocketCam and PocketAudio devices are installed correctly by going
to the Device Manager.
- On Windows XP: Start->Settings->Control
Panel->Adminstrative Tools->Computer Management->Device Manager.
- On Windows Vista and Windows 7:
Start->Control Panel->Hardware and Sound->Device Manager.
Within Device Manager, Expand
Sound,video and game controllers, and you should see two
new devices: Senstic PocketCam and Senstic
PocketAudio. If either of those does not exist or is
shown as not working, it is because you skipped the device
installation. In this case, you should
uninstall PocketControl, and re-run
the MSI installer again. Make sure you complete the driver
installation as described earlier on this page.
