Unlock Your Phone
Some smartphones are application-locked by the manufacturer,
which prevents the SDK certificate CAB file to be installed.
In this case, you will need to unlock your phone.
This section tells you how to unlock your phone.
1. Download Regedit from here, unzip
it and copy the exe file to the device using ActiveSynch.
2. Run Regedit.exe on the device. Navigate to
HKEY_LOCAL_MAC...\Security\Policies\Policies\. Click "Values".
Here is the screen of policies. Click "Keys" of the policy
"00001001".
You should now see this screen:
If the Value data is not "1", change it to "1" (decimal).
Click "Done" to complete the change.
Similarly,
change "00001005" value to "40" (decimal) (recovery note: default is
16).
3. Reboot the device and re-install the SDK certificate CAB
file.
